On Growing. Learning. Sharing. Caring.

“Anything that you learn becomes your wealth, a wealth that cannot be taken away from you; whether you learn it in a building called school or in the school of life. To learn something new is a timeless pleasure and a valuable treasure. And not all things that you learn are taught to you, but many things that you learn you realize you have taught yourself.” ― C. JoyBell C.

I recently picked up a new writing gig (in addition to a publishing deal, in case you didn't hear me screaming with excitement around the world)! I'll be writing a regular inspirational post for Where Writers Win, an excellent resource for emerging writers.

My first post came out August 1. It's Called "Dry Spell in Your Writing? The Swing from Desert to Oasis." Writers, as well as anyone who's ever been stuck or wanted to get something done, will enjoy it. It's been tweeted and retweeted like a sweet little birdy. I love it when my words fly further into the world!

I was also invited onto a blog tour by author Tamika Christy. I'll be sharing more here about why I write (and some sneak peaks into the novel details) later this week... along with an invitation to view more new authors.

My next live and in-person gig will be in Annapolis, Maryland. It's a one day event called Snapshot: Creating Vision in Your Life. I'm very excited to be collaborating with my photographer husband, Bill Hughlett and talented coach Amy Steindler for this super duper event! East coasters, tell your friends. Everyone else? Book a plane ticket or invite us to come visit you!! Have ideas, will travel.

And on the technology side, I'm exploring a new platform called Bublish. It's a unique, behind-the-scenes peek into what inspired authors to pen certain subjects. I'm playing with entries from As I Lay Pondering. If you have a favorite passage and would like to hear the backstory, please send me a note here or via email. In the meantime, my profile and previous bubbles are here.

By the way... if you're a kindleunlimited user, you can read As I Lay Pondering: daily invitations to live a transformed life for absolutely FREE!!

Growing? Learning? Sharing? Caring? Stuck? Mobile? Where will you go today? Who will you be? How will you share?
